Fan Shapes ~ O Relation

Work with an O Relation fan shape, where both fans align to read as a single circular ‘O’ in space. Nikki Scarano demonstrates treating the two props as one unit, emphasising clean relationship, consistent spacing, and maintaining the shared plane so the overall silhouette stays intact.

Use the shape as a constraint-based drill: draw circles with the combined unit, travel it left-to-right, take it behind the head, and experiment with horizontal placement plus opening and closing while keeping the O relationship. Practise for a timed round to build control, pathway clarity, and creative variation without breaking the shape.
