Folds ~ CC Relation Diamond

This drill refines a fan fold built from a Double-C relation Diamond, using asymmetrical palm orientations to manage a more awkward hinge. You’ll practise setting one hand in full extension while the other stays in a regular grip but rotates palm-away, with the fan briefly supported under the elbow to stabilise the shape.

Nikki Scarano cues folding the entire Diamond down through a clock pathway, then folding again to return upward while keeping the right hand “glued” to the arm. Expect small grip readjustments to keep the Diamond clean as you hinge, and use repetition to smooth timing and spacing before exploring other fold variations.
