Static & Dynamic Grip

Refine fan handling by contrasting static grip and dynamic grip. Static grip keeps the fan fixed in your hand with a closed grip, prioritising control and stillness in the prop while your hand path does the work. Dynamic grip introduces controlled rotation around the fingers, letting the fan spin to create more changeable, responsive motion.

You’ll drill a simple pathway to feel the difference, tracing a half-circle from left to right in static grip, then pausing at the top to let the fan drop and rotate into dynamic grip. Use this to diagnose which movements rely on stable orientation versus prop spin.
