Partner mirroring exercise

A partner mirroring drill that builds expressive body movement alongside poi control. First, work without props: face each other, one person leads with clear shape, rhythm, and character, while the other mirrors as accurately as possible, then swap roles. Keep the focus on whole-body orientation and intention rather than “poi moves”.

Next, the leader continues without poi while the follower maintains continuous spinning and mirrors the leader’s movement quality. This trains attention-splitting, timing, and performance presence, so your movement stays engaging even if the poi were removed.
