The Clap

Work a wall plane split-time, same-direction isolation until both poi can meet cleanly for the “clap”. The focus is keeping each head on its track while your hands come together and separate, so the timing relationship stays locked as you compress and release the pattern.

Nick Woolsey uses the clap as a timing drill for dialling in split-time same-direction control and confirming you’ve got the movement “plugged in”. You’ll also explore entering the clap, following the pull around, and returning to your starting position as a simple transition pathway.
