Linear Wick Isolation ~ Figure 8s
This lesson links previously learned WIC isolations into a continuous linear wick isolation pattern that reads as figure 8s. You’ll start from a W relation with arms extended down, then tip to a diagonal entry point and use controlled 45-degree pushes up and down while hinging side-to-side.
The focus is on keeping the isolation clean as you swivel between angles, then gradually smoothing the segmented checkpoints into a more fluid, “chasing” figure-eight pathway. Use this drill to refine your plane control, directional clarity, and timing between the two halves of the pattern.
