Pirouette progression continued

Continue building your pirouette progression by taking the familiar “golf ball / bell” pathway and moving it into split-time. The goal is to keep the turn consistent while one poi clearly leads, matching the lead hand to your turning shoulder so the pattern returns cleanly to the start point.

Nick Woolsey recommends starting in split-time and prioritising the lead poi while the other follows, rather than trying to count every beat as the shapes overlap. Drill relaxed breath, then work towards linking multiple reps and gradually tightening the pathway. If timing breaks down, rehearse the lead with empty hands before returning to the poi.
