Wheel Plane
Wheel plane work shifts the fan pathway from the wall plane in front of you to an invisible wall beside your body. Nikki Scarano has you map clean vertical circles on your right and left sides, keeping your hand and prop parallel to that side wall throughout the full forward–up–back–down pathway.
This drill builds clearer plane control by using a real wall or strong spatial visualisation to reduce wobble. The goal is straighter lines and more reliable momentum, so later patterns and transitions stay clean. Swap between wall plane and wheel plane to feel the difference and reinforce orientation.
