Introducing crosspoints
Crosspoints are the consistent X-shaped intersections your poi make as they travel back and forth. Nick Woolsey has you pick a fixed target in space and repeatedly pass the poi through that same point, using it as feedback for timing, plane control, and pattern stability.
You then vary the X by tightening it close to the arm or widening it side-to-side, refining how the hands travel without simply making the pattern bigger. This drill builds three-dimensional control and cleaner persistence of vision, supporting more complex patterns by keeping the flight path consistent.
