Sky view leadups to orbitals
This session uses a sky-view breakdown of barrel roll lead-ups as a practical pathway into orbitals, hyperloops, and related air-wrap relationships. Nick Woolsey frames barrel rolls as a clearer way to map crossing patterns and timing than jumping straight into orbitals, so you can recognise the same mechanics when you later connect sequences.
You’ll drill prerequisites and key shapes: clean isolations (including an isolated buzz saw) and tight “switchy switchy” on both sides. From a crossed-arm setup, you practise leaving one poi hanging while the other threads up through the arm “hoop” with controlled isolation, then repeat on the other side to release back to a stable position.
