Split time turns in front
Work the split-time version of front turns by converting your same-time pathway into a lead-and-chase timing relationship. You drill the front track passing low by the toes and high over the top, then bring the timing apart so one poi leads while the other accelerates to catch up, landing in backwards split time.
Nick Woolsey focuses on direction consistency and body orientation while you practise turning left and right, noting which hand leads on each side. This timing control sets up smoother transitions into reels, windmills, and other chasing moves without stepping around too early.
