Turning with split-time buzzsaw
Work on adding a turn to a buzzsaw by alternating forward and backward planes as you rotate. You’ll drill the timing of who leads, relaxing into the direction change so the left initiates the backward buzzsaw and the right initiates the forward buzzsaw while you keep the pattern compact and close to the body.
Nick Woolsey then shifts it into split-time turning. The key refinement is tracking the arm on the side you’re turning towards as the lead, waiting for each poi to arrive before you follow it through low (past the toes and down through the arms) and high (over the top and back up through the arms) pathways.
