Corkscrew ~ Turning Variation
This lesson drills a turning variation of the fans corkscrew, coordinating whole-body rotation with the corkscrew pathway. You’ll practise leading the pattern with one hand, letting the tilt travel across the body as the fans rise and spiral, then turning in the same direction and timing as the prop.
Nikki Scarano also flips the orientation to the opposite side, swapping the lead hand so you can repeat the same relationship in reverse. Use this to refine turn initiation, directional clarity, and clean alignment between prop-driven momentum and body rotation for smoother transitions into travelling or rotational sequences.
