Backward 3-beat-weave lead-ups

Build the lead-ups for a backward 3-beat weave from a solid backward 2-beat weave on both sides, with either hand on top. The focus is the reversed initiation in backward direction, where the top arm stops and tucks under to start the pattern, then alternating tucks set the 3-beat timing.

Nick Woolsey drills the single-hand preparation on each side: starting under the arm, switching to over, and returning with a small arm ‘wiggle’ rather than pulling back. This refines clean under/over pathway changes, hand dominance awareness, and reliable entry timing for the full backward weave.
