Crossing one poi front to back, over the head

Drill the crossing pathway that sends a single poi from front to back over your head while keeping a steady count. Nick Woolsey emphasises using a committed 1–4 rhythm and a tall posture so the crossing clears safely behind the head rather than stalling at 1–3.

Focus on maintaining a clean, near-vertical plane that stays close to the knees, letting momentum carry the poi through the back-side portion even when it feels like the direction changes. Start with two hands to stabilise timing and pathway, then reduce to one hand as control improves.
