Pendulum weaves
Work a pendulum-based variation of the weave that grows out of a steady tick-tock pattern. Nick Woolsey frames it as a “lazy” weave where the returning arm stops completing the over-the-top circle and instead swings as a pendulum before crossing back into the weave.
You’ll drill the timing of one poi dropping to the other side first, then returning cleanly to weave rhythm. Key focus is keeping the non-pendulum poi finishing its full circle and then following the crossing pendulum, so the pattern stays ordered and doesn’t collapse as you alternate sides.
