Turning between the weaves from hanging poi (if the last approach didn't work)

Practise turning between a forwards and backwards weave from a hanging/low start position. Nick Woolsey has you establish how facing direction changes the weave orientation, then uses a consistent ‘matching point’ to swap between patterns without losing timing.

Drill the entry mechanics: scoop up into a forwards weave with the right hand crossing over, then reset and enter a backwards weave by keeping the right hand on a full circle so the left hand can cross under. Repeat over/under transitions to build clean turn timing and reliable weave direction changes.
