Playing along the tracks and switching modes

Work on cycling cleanly between poi timing/direction modes, using stalls and single-poi reversals as your main switches. The drill moves through same-time same-direction, split-time same-direction, and split-time opposites, returning to a neutral pattern when needed to keep your planes organised.

Once the mode changes feel reliable, start “playing along the tracks” by inserting short sequences inside each mode, then dropping back to the base pattern. Use this to practise finding switch points mid-move, spotting where a stall (over or under the arm) can safely reset timing and direction without breaking rhythm.
