Poi planes saloon doors and orbing
Refine wall plane control in two-poi patterns by drilling saloon doors and orbing. Nick Woolsey focuses on keeping both heads ‘against an invisible wall’ while deliberately bending the plane out and in, then letting the movement travel past the arms to continue the bend.
You’ll practise moving from saloon doors into a full orbital loop by taking the plane through a complete circle, building consistent tilt manipulation across the whole range. Variations include bending both poi together, then one in while the other bends out, in both opposites and split time, to support cleaner freeplay and later butterfly work.
