Final thoughts on playing with planes

Refine plane control in poi by deliberately bending and returning your planes instead of trying to keep them perfectly flat. Nick Woolsey frames this as ongoing play: tilt both poi in and out, left and right, and notice how timing and arm orientation affect whether the planes stay clean or drift.

Use slow turns, walking, and even spinning along a wall to get clear feedback on where your plane collapses through your range of motion. Practise letting the plane deviate, then recovering it on purpose, building freedom to choose your angle of tilt anywhere in space.
