Stall-chasers

A basic poi stall-chaser built from clean, repeatable stalls on both sides. You’ll drill hand-to-hand stall positions with extended arms, focusing on keeping a clear 90-degree relationship between arm line and poi line for sharp right-angle shapes.

Nick Woolsey then has you practise slowing the spin and letting the arm follow the poi path instead of dropping back down, so the stall lands precisely when the arm stops. This timing control sets up the visual “chase” illusion and gives you a solid base for later variations and direction changes.
