Ways to move the poi

Spinning is treated as a foundational skill with multiple drivers: practise drawing the circle from fingers, wrist, elbow, and shoulder to feel how each joint changes speed control and texture. Then open into extension and start checking your plane accuracy, using a wall, shadow, reflection, or a line on the ground as feedback.

Work specifically on reducing wobble by pausing where the plane breaks (often as the poi pass behind the horizon), then returning to continuous motion. Explore both forwards and backwards on wheel and wall planes, and begin pendulum swings front-to-back, aiming for a clean “zero point” moment at the horizon.
