Two-in-Ones (the silly Peru video version :)

Practise poi two-in-ones by separating speed and timing between hands, with one poi maintaining a steady fast circle while the other traces a larger, slower circle. Nick Woolsey frames this as a left–right differentiation drill that builds independence, so you can change one hand’s rhythm without dragging the other into matching speed.

Start by keeping one poi constant and letting the other explore pendulum circles, then work towards a clear half-speed relationship rather than two circles moving at the same rate. Train both sides, forwards and backwards, to make speed contrasts usable in transitions and performance choices.
