Adding poi to poitrivian
Build Poitruvian with poi by stacking clean arm mechanics before adding prop speed. Nick Woolsey focuses on keeping a true T-position, shoulders down with stable scapulae, and matching timing so both hands travel around the head together and open simultaneously for a symmetrical pathway.
Drill the pattern one side at a time, then swap between “hand only” and “hand plus poi” to preserve the same large head-wrapping shape. Progress from both arms with one poi to both poi, using posture and consistent pathwaying to avoid collapsing the movement when the props are introduced.
