Introducing Poi-Fu, starting with "Poitruvian Arms"

Poitruvian Arms is introduced as a foundational Poi Fu warm-up, training poi-like pathways using only the arms before adding props. You’ll drill large, continuous circles that pass ear, nose, and legs, building clean alignment, shoulder mobility, and reliable muscle memory without “cutting” the pathway.

You’ll practise each hand in both directions, then explore alternating right–left timing as the circles become smoother. The focus stays on posture and body mechanics: tall spine, open chest, relaxed shoulders, and full-range movement so the pattern stays consistent when attention shifts. This sets up clearer technique when poi are added later.
