Backward 3-beat weave

Backward split-time 3-beat weave, built from the same lead-up as the forwards weave but with the crossing direction reversed. Nick Woolsey has you start on the right shoulder and drill the feel of the lead hand repeatedly crossing under and back, then switching through the key under-to-over moment that sets the pattern.

You’ll rehearse each side separately, then bring in the second poi by timing the non-leading poi to cross underneath to the opposite side. Alternating which side you start on helps balance both directions and makes side-to-side switching cleaner while reducing clashes as the planes and crossing points change.
