Beyond switchy switchy
Work a same-direction split-time wall plane pattern while repeatedly switching which poi passes in front. Nick Woolsey frames “switchy switchy” as a timing and layering drill that builds control over overlap without drifting into threading-the-needle habits.
Practise two approaches: a still-body version driven from relaxed elbows and hand paths, and a whole-body version where small torso and shoulder turns create the switch. Use pauses to reset, then vary height and range while keeping the plane clean. This switching mechanic becomes a base for later isolations, wall-plane flowers, barrel rolls, and hyperloop entries.
