Switchy switchy

Drill Switchy as a same-direction, split-time poi pattern where the heads pass close through the centre, creating controlled near-collisions. You practise alternating which hand is ‘inside’ (right inside, then left inside) while keeping timing consistent and avoiding drifting into opposites.

Nick Woolsey emphasises bringing both poi onto a clean wall plane and using a relaxed whole-body pivot to support the hand switch rather than arm pumping. Work towards smooth left-right alternation, then refine by bringing the hands closer without tangling, building comfort for tighter pathways later.
