Lockouts and crossy-crossy (which I now call switchy-switchy)

Refine a clean split-time, same-direction wall plane, aiming for tight symmetry and consistent timing as the poi pass through centre. Nick Woolsey uses an off-prop arm drill to reinforce the pathway, then adds a Switchy focus by alternating which hand/poi is in front as they overlap, keeping the motion relaxed rather than forced.

From there you bring the poi closer and repeat the crossy-crossy pattern, using the front/back swap to organise crossings and brief lockout moments without losing plane control. This builds a reliable base for tighter transitions and cleaner, more deliberate overlaps.
