Brain and body warm up

A brain-and-body warm-up for poi that trains coordination and timing before you pick up props. You’ll mirror Nick Woolsey through an asymmetrical arm pattern, with the right arm pulsing up and down while the left arm cycles up, out, and down.

The focus is on sequencing and drilling in small chunks rather than trying to run both sides at once. By breaking the movement into clear timeline ‘positions’ and repeating them slowly, you practise clean transitions, then rebuild speed and optionally reverse the sequence to check control and symmetry.
