Combining types of poi movement - one poi spinning the other swinging
Work on split-task poi control by combining a continuous spin on one hand with an extension-style swing on the other. Nick Woolsey focuses on keeping each arm’s timing clean as you build from single-arm drills into simultaneous movement, using horizon-level swings and over-the-top pathways to stabilise the pattern.
You’ll also explore swapping roles between hands, changing which poi is spinning and which is penduluming, and checking in-spin versus anti-spin as you reverse directions. This drill develops independence between arms and sets up smoother transitions and hand-to-hand pattern shifts.
