Crossing both poi together, forward and backward
Build clean same-direction crossings with both poi by layering one arm at a time, then combining them. Nick Woolsey starts by miming two-hand timing with only one poi active, so you can focus on hand path and the crossing relationship without extra swing variables.
You’ll drill crossing over and under into a brief “hug” position, alternate which arm is on top, then repeat the same progression in reverse for backward crossings. The goal is reliable forward/backward crossing with optional holds, so you can transition into turns and simple rhythmic phrases without losing plane or timing.
