Isolations-and-shoulder-snakes

Refine clean poi isolations and apply them to shoulder snakes using split-time same-direction timing. You’ll drill symmetrical isolation paths, then add a simple hand-touch “target” as the poi heads meet to check alignment and rhythm.

From the isolation, practise guiding the hands from front to back, letting the hands travel behind the shoulders and return to the front while keeping the isolation smooth. Nick Woolsey frames this as a practical isolation application that reinforces plane control, stall cleanliness, and consistent timing while transitioning between behind-the-shoulder and front-of-body positions.
