Stall and reverse #1 - Getting started
This session builds the core skill of stalling and reversing a single poi while the other continues, training clear left–right differentiation. You’ll drill repeated stall-to-reverse actions on each side until you can do them with minimal attention, keeping timing steady and reducing unwanted mirroring.
Nick Woolsey then layers in a simple progression from a hanging poi to a front–back swing, then into matching direction and finally opposite-direction movement. The aim is practical transition control, using stalls and reverses to move between patterns and to keep one hand stable while the other changes direction.
