Stall and reverse #2 - Getting smooth
Practise smoothing out stall-to-reverse timing by cycling between right-hand and left-hand reverses from a matched forward spin. The focus is consistency and rhythm: reverse the right, return, then reverse the left, returning to the starting pattern until the changes feel even and repeatable.
Nick Woolsey encourages isolating each side first, then rebuilding coordination by keeping one poi spinning while the other swings into the opposite direction before rejoining the pattern. Use this as a refinement drill for cleaner direction changes and more relaxed, musical repetition.
