Windmill, forward and backward weaves from neutral
Drill clean transitions between split-time forward weaves, backward weaves, and windmill variations by returning to a neutral, matching-point position. You’ll practise shaping your hand path so the poi don’t settle into parallel same-time, but pass through neutral with a clear split-time relationship.
Nick Woolsey focuses on using intentional arm crosses to enter each weave: leading with the left arm over for forward weave entries, then reversing back through neutral, and using an under-cross to drop into backward weaves while the other poi holds its circle on-plane. This builds reliable direction changes and freer pattern switching.
