Directions, orientation, and how to follow these videos

Set up reliable reference points so your poi directions stay consistent between drills. Nick Woolsey has you choose clear ‘front/back/left/right’ landmarks in your space, then use them to track orientation and the direction your poi are travelling, like keeping clean ‘train tracks’ rather than drifting off-line. This reduces frustration when repeating new patterns and helps you remember where a movement starts and where it passes.

You’ll also clarify how to follow the videos through mirroring versus flocking. When Nick faces you, you mirror his right/left; when he turns away, you match the same side as him. This keeps timing and sidedness consistent as lessons progress.
