Epic poi-fu warmup and exploration of the modes

Poi Fu warm-up focused on loosening shoulders, improving posture, and sharpening clean finger circles before moving into more complex coordination. You’ll scale circle size, switch directions, and aim for consistent shape and height to build control and joint preparation.

Nick Woolsey then reviews key Poi Fu modes, especially opposing directions rather than defaulting to same-direction split-time. You’ll drill matching height through the top and bottom pathway, add breath-timed rising and falling, and revisit a familiar pattern with a turning/swimming-style finish to practise changing facing and continuing smoothly.
