Poi fu - Travel with partners

Partner Poi Fu footwork drills focused on travelling together while maintaining timing, orientation, and safe spacing. Nick Woolsey works through pivot-based travel and a back-step option, counting phrases to keep both spinners in sync as you move across the floor.

You’ll practise mirroring and mixing roles so partners can turn the same way or split the footwork while still travelling as a unit. Simple partner games like claps or high fives are used to train spotting, rhythm, and proprioception, giving you practical tools for coordinating movement and building responsive partner awareness.
