More spiral wraps

Nick Woolsey revisits spiral wraps with a drilling approach that builds clean timing and reliable wrap mechanics. You practise creating a consistent bounce and rhythm by keeping the hands firm and connected, giving the poi a stable surface to rebound from while you redirect the wrap back and forth.

The lesson focuses on progressive scaling: start with very short poi to ingrain the feel, then gradually increase length as control improves. You also experiment with different finger involvement to stabilise the wrap and bring it onto a clear plane in front of the body, aiming for repeatable muscle memory over days or weeks.
